Meet the Designer

Ashley is the Founder and Creative Director of Southworth Interior Design. She received her Masters Degree from Point Loma University and after serving as a special education teacher, program specialist, and professor, she later supplemented her education by attending classes at the Academy of Interior Design in Los Angeles where she received her Interior Design Certification. Ashley brings an unwavering entrepreneurial spirit to Southworth Interior Design allowing the business to accelerate its growth through strategic risk-taking, hard work, and creativity. She is passionate about serving her clients and implements thoughtful design by pairing found treasures with long lasting pieces from different styles to create interiors that are both beautiful and one of a kind.

Ashley resides in Bakersfield, California with her favorite farmer, their 5-year-old daughter, and an adopted Aussiedoodle. When Ashley isn't designing or decorating you can find her working clay in a local ceramics studio, sitting shotgun in a Ranger scouting deer, rocking out to old school country at a live concert, or curled up reading a book.
